5 Days / 4 Nights Gulmarg Beginner Ski Package
Overview
Learn to ski in the mountains of Gulmarg, Kashmir with a professional local ski instructor. This package is built for beginners — people skiing for the first time, or with very little experience.
Your instructor is with you from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM every day, teaching the basics, building your confidence and getting you skiing properly.
Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive in Srinagar and Acclimatise
Welcome to Kashmir. You'll be met at Srinagar International Airport (SXR) by our driver, then driven through the Kashmir Valley to Gulmarg in a private vehicle.
On arrival you'll meet the Gulmarg Snowline team and settle in. Take time to rest, look around Gulmarg and let your body adjust to the mountain environment before lessons start.
We'll also fit your equipment — boots, skis and poles — so everything is ready for your first day on the slopes.
Day 2 — First Ski Lesson
- Ski training from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- The basic skiing position
- Balance, stopping and speed control
- Simple turns
- Basic mountain safety
Day 3 — Improve Your Skiing
- Continued ski lessons
- Turning and speed control
- Balance and body position
- Beginner-friendly slopes
- Personal guidance from your instructor
Day 4 — Skiing in Gulmarg
- Full day session from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Practising the skills you've learned
- Building confidence on the slopes
- Moving to suitable terrain as your skills improve
- Time to enjoy the snow and the mountain views
Day 5 — Final Ski Session
- Final session with your instructor
- Practising your skiing skills
- Feedback and tips from your instructor
- Equipment return
- Departure from Gulmarg
