Overview
Experience snowboarding in Gulmarg, Kashmir with Gulmarg Snowline and learn from a professional local snowboard instructor. This 5 day package is designed for beginners who want to learn the basics and enjoy their first time on the snow.
Gulmarg is one of the most popular destinations for skiing and snowboarding in India, known for its Himalayan slopes and winter snow.
Your instructor is with you from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM every day, giving personal guidance and helping you build balance, board control and confidence.
Whether it's your first time snowboarding or you already have some basic experience, we'll help you make the most of your time on the slopes.
Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive in Srinagar and Acclimatise
Welcome to Kashmir. You'll be met at Srinagar International Airport (SXR) by our driver, then driven through the Kashmir Valley to Gulmarg in a private vehicle.
On arrival you'll meet the Gulmarg Snowline team and settle in. Take time to rest, explore Gulmarg and get used to the mountain environment before your lessons start.
We'll also help with your snowboard equipment fitting, including boots and helmet, so everything is ready for your first day on the slopes.
Day 2 — Your First Snowboarding Lesson
- Snowboarding training from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- The basic snowboarding stance
- Balance and board control
- Stopping and controlling your speed
- Basic turns
- Introduction to mountain safety
Day 3 — Improve Your Snowboarding
- Continued snowboarding lessons
- Turning and speed control
- Balance and body position
- Practice on beginner-friendly slopes
- Personal guidance from your instructor
Day 4 — Snowboarding in Gulmarg
- Full day snowboarding from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Practising the skills you've learned
- Building confidence on the slopes
- Moving to suitable terrain as your skills improve
- Enjoying the snow and mountain views
Day 5 — Final Snowboarding Session
- Final session with your instructor
- Practising your snowboarding skills
